I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Rutgers University in 1990. My post-doc research was on the economic consequences of spinal cord injury. After a car accident, I took some time to release several albums of original music with a duo called Mishambra. After this I worked in finance for almost twenty years. Along the way I received training to become a Reiki Master, produced another 10 albums, taught as an adjunct professor, and help people explore the connection between their economic decision making with their spiritual development and expression. A personal high-point was a hot air balloon ride above the beautiful landscape of Cappadocia, Turkey in 2011.
I currently teach in the Economics Department at Montclair State University. I provide private holonomic consulting. I am writing a workbook on holistic decision making, as well as research on the meaning of profit and the sustainable spirit, and innovating our tax system. I occasionally play out as a bassist.
I will be providing my insights and services to a broader audience, and will help people move toward a more practical mindfulness balancing their healing, growing, creative and spiritual paths.
I provide people an economic, yet holistic, approach to taking inventory of all their resources (financial, material, relational, physical, mental and spiritual), to enable them to make plans, decisions and choices that most fully express whom they want to be. I provide presentations and workshops on mindful decision making on a range of topics. I can also provide reiki energy work for those so inclined.
